As a Baby-Friendly Maternity Clinic (WHO/UNICEF Initiative, certified since 2011, learn more here), we are committed to fostering a strong parent-child bond and promoting breastfeeding as the optimal, natural form of nutrition. We offer modern medical care combined with a sense of security and individual attention. Our aim is to ensure a natural progression of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
Optimal care for newborns is provided by our specialized staff in close cooperation with the Pediatric Clinic of the University Hospital – even in cases of high-risk or premature births.

Would you like to give birth with us? Please contact us by phone about six weeks (34+0) before your due date so we can arrange a meeting to get to know each other.

Our visiting hours are daily from 15.30 to 19.00. Please report directly to Ward S2.
In line with our baby-friendly concept, we kindly ask that the number of visitors is limited to two visitors per day. Children are excluded from this limit.

Thanks to our cooperation with the University Hospital Dresden, excellent pediatric care is always ensured.
- During the day – including weekends – pediatricians are always available in the delivery room to care for newborns; in the evenings and at night, they are on call.
- The pediatric examinations U1 and U2 are performed by the pediatricians on the postpartum ward.
- Initial care of the newborn by obstetricians, anesthesiologists, pediatric nurses, and midwives is always provided.
